Linux and widows are two similar but very different OS,
if u think that people use linux just B coz it is free
but it is not so......
linux will offer u many feature that are not at all found in windows ..
But Windows has more support online and offline.
Linux is offering u 4 desktop that is a 3D desktop whereas windows is offerinf a single 2D desktop.
You wll experience more of user frindly applications on linux contrary to
windows offering very limited options for example Let us cosider the windows photo gallery which is used for editing pictures ofeers u 2 crop , apply red eye, turn the picture. But in linux u will enjoy same features alog with adding hade , lightning , hading as d many more with GiMP.
same is the case with many more related issues.
But the problem linux is facing in India is that people are aware of windows at all
even computer engineers are using linux of older version they have no idea abt the new versions of linux
i just had installed linux on my computer on my computer but i was helpless for assistance ..
so i had 2 switch back 2 windows vista
i just hope people will be aware of the Linux in India soon
